This type of isolated safety barrier can transmit communicational digital signals (half duplex RS485) from hazardous area to safe area. And it may also be connected in a connection network in safe area via communication ports. Besides, it may also provide power to the apparatus on the spot.
This product needs an independent power supply.
It is an excellent product with online self-diagnosis function. The input, output, and power supply are galvanic ally isolated from each other.
