TD sereis Liquid Density Meter is a high precision process instrumentation for inline density measurement. The design is oriented to the custody transfer of the liquid hydrocarbon. The sensing element adopts straight single tube, while advanced microprocessor enables the integration of signal-processing including data-collection, calculation and diagnosis. The variables measured / calculated cover density, concentration, baume degree, etc.

Working Principles
The working principle is based on resonance. That is, the resonance frequency of the sensing tube is inversely proportional to fluids' density. When there's density change on fluids passing through the sensing tube, it influences the vibration-quality of the sensing tube. This changing vibration-quality is also influencing the sensing tube's resonance frequency. This change is detected by piezoelectric crystal. After the process of phase shift and amplification circuit, the sensing tube will be stable at a natural resonant frequency. The microprocessor is capable of accurate density-calculation when resonance frequency change.
